With a return on investment of 6:1, Northside Achievement Zone (NAZ) is demonstrating that investing in education and health brings great benefits to communities. A recent report by Wilder Research documents that investing in children and parent education is helping to end generational poverty in North Minneapolis.

Through a collaboration of community-based organizations, NAZ provides a wraparound framework to stabilize low-income families of color with housing, employment and health resources. The end result is a community of children who are ready to start kindergarten and have a pathway to prepare them for college. This leads to better health for a lifetime for not only the  children, but also the communities where they live, learn and eventually work.
